G5 Tour with a view over the "Brocken"- 38 kilometers, 1265 meters in height- category difficult
This challenging difficult mountain bike route with few steep ascents is going to be a great sporting enjoyment with our Pedelecs and our e-mountain bikes. It starts by cycling comfortably through the old town of Goslar and up the "Rammelsberg" with a panoramic view over the city. And then the mountain-fun starts.
You cycle across stable forest roads through the woods of the Harz National Park, up to 650 meters in height to enjoy a quick descent into the "Ockertal". After 20 km you have the possibility of eating or drinking something in the so called "smallest kingdom in the world" in "Romkerhall".
But the mountain is calling. On the other side of the federal highway there's a steep ascent up the "Käste" cliffs again. The "Käste" house is a cozy forest restaurant and from the cliffs you can see the whole "Okertal". The descent down to the district "Oker" is quite rapid on a wide, graveled forest road. Please mind the hikers being en route here!
Then you swerve through "Oker" and you are already cycling back to Goslar along the edge of the woods.
